Pracademics in NASPAA Programs
Every wonder how many faculty in NASPAA accredited programs are pracademics? Drs. Samantha L Mosier and Susan Opp answer this question in a new article in Teaching Public Administration answers that question. The results of their analysis demonstrated that most faculty members in public affairs, public administration, and public policy programs do have prior practical experiences to the academy that can enhance their teaching and research experience. However, current service-based engagements that can build critical links between the academic and practitioner worlds are far less reported.
